"My Momma told me that I'm just like Pops..." echoes over the effervescent experiences of four young men traveling abroad for their first time. In an effort to narrate this journey of understanding interpersonal conditions, "Fair Grounds" serves as a visual anthology comprised of seemingly tangible memories and dreamy vignettes that explore the ideas of masculinity and ancestry. Using mixed formats, this reflection on community and lineage creates a cocktail of moments that aims to establish an empathetic dialogue with its audience and between other men to address toxic tendencies.
