In Cape Town, South Africa, ex-Central Intelligence Agency Non-official cover operative turned international criminal Tobin Frost acquires a data storage device from rogue Secret Intelligence Service agent Alec Wade. The pair is attacked by a team of mercenaries, who kill Wade and corner Frost, leaving him no choice but to surrender to the American consulate.
