The company of Riga friends, instead of resting on Dombay, go on an extreme trip to the Arctic. Friends so succumbed to the general fun that they did not take seriously the warning of a travel agent about the dangers of skiing in the tundra. The weather suddenly changed, a blizzard rose, one of the friends, Imant, got lost and miraculously did not freeze. He was discovered and saved by a young veterinarian from a deer camp nearby. And so the years passed, the friends grew up, became exemplary family men, and somehow, sitting at the festive New Year's table, Imant, sitting in the company of friends and his family, raises a glass and recalls with great gratitude his New Year's adventure in the tundra.
