Jake Larsen is a troubled boy with traces of schizophrenia who begins to be plagued by strange visions. He ends up in a relationship with Gwen Pace, a young girl who has just arrived in Little Hill and they find themselves linked by a great catastrophe that occurs in the city. Everything gets even more complicated as things are discovered about Gwen's past and how much her life could be at risk.
