Deprogrammers, specialists who extract people from cults, are hired to rescue Niki, a former model and commercial star who has fallen under the influence of the Primordial sect. Their methods are ruthless, pushing the boundaries of psychological manipulation and even physical coercion. To help care for Niki during the process, the team brings in a nurse named Lily. But the operation quickly spirals out of control when the sect’s powerful leader declares war on the deprogrammers and will stop at nothing to bring Niki back into the fold.
