18 Norwegian men and women travel a thousand years back in time to live as Vikings. The participants do not know what they are going for, but quickly realize that this will be much tougher than expected. The first person they meet is host Trond Espen Seim. He is not a presenter in the traditional sense, but will lead the reality game in character, as a good - what the old Norse sagas describe as one who speaks for the gods. At the Thing, the good divides the participants into two peoples - the Dragons and the Ravens. Every week they will meet each other in a battle, and the people who lose the battle must nominate two of their own to Holmgang. Whoever loses the islet walk is out of The Last Viking.
